Laura Le Diez

Originally from Nantes, in the northwest of France, where she grew up between horseback riding and spending time by the ocean. She moved to Canada in 2020, and her dance journey began when she joined Montuno Dance Company in September 2024. With no previous dance experience, she quickly fell in love with salsa and bachata, dedicating herself to consistent training and continuous growth.

Through her passion, commitment, and hard work, Laura has grown into a Junior Instructor at Montuno Dance Company, where she now teaches beginner Salsa and Bachata classes. She is also a proud member of Montuno DC's performance team and has competed and performed at some of Calgary's major Latin dance events, showcasing her dedication and growth as a performer.

As an instructor, Laura strives to create a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment where every student feels encouraged to learn. She believes dance is about more than just steps—it's about building confidence, connecting with others, and enjoying the journey. Her goal is to help students grow both as dancers and as individuals while making every class an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
