Born in Guatemala, Horacio began his dance journey with zero experience just two years ago at Montuno Dance Company. After showing strong commitment, consistency, and a genuine love for dance, he was taken under the mentorship of Moises Gonzalez.

Since then, Horacio has grown steadily—first as a dedicated student, then as a teacher assistant, and now as a junior instructor.

As an instructor, his natural charisma and high-energy presence allow him to connect effortlessly with students and foster a fun, welcoming environment. He is also recognized as one of Calgary’s top salsa leads, known for his smooth and confident lead on the dance floor.
