Born in Guatemala, Horacio began his dance journey with zero experience just two years ago at Montuno Dance Company. After showing strong commitment, consistency, and a genuine love for dance, he was taken under the mentorship of Moises Gonzalez.

Since then, Horacio has grown steadily, first as a dedicated student, then as a teacher assistant, and now as a junior instructor.
 

​Horacio has performed and competed across Canada at events such as the Calgary International Salsa Congress and the Canada Salsa & Bachata Congress, where he has competed in the Salsa Heats Division, earning first place on numerous occasions.

​

As an instructor, his natural charisma and high-energy presence allow him to connect effortlessly with students and foster a fun, welcoming environment. Horacio has helped many new dancers in Calgary feel comfortable and confident as they begin their dance journey.
