Carlos Noyola
In May 2009, Carlos took his very first salsa lesson—and instantly fell in love with salsa and bachata. From that moment on, he immersed himself in learning, taking classes at various studios across Calgary, attending salsa congresses in cities throughout Canada, and even traveling to Cuba multiple times to deepen his knowledge and refine his technique.
For the first 12 years, Carlos focused primarily on LA (On1) and Cuban styles. Then, in 2019, he expanded his repertoire by studying the New York (On2) style, adding another layer to his versatility as a dancer.
In 2013, Carlos began volunteering as an instructor at the University of Calgary's Student Dance Club, sharing his passion and experience with new dancers. Since 2017, he has been a dedicated instructor at various studios in Calgary and Canmore, inspiring students with his energy, commitment, and love for Latin dance.
